Greg Davis

Greg is currently President / CEO of Southeast Asia Retail Inc. (SEARI) operating as Landers Superstores in the Philippines and owned by CVC Capital. Greg joined SEARI in 2022 after a long and successful 13-year tenure at Coles Group where he held many senior roles, most recently Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Executive Coles Express.

Prior to this he held the role of Chief Operating Officer of Coles Group and Executive General Manager of Fresh Foods where he re-shaped the Coles Fresh businesses, building a strong culture, improving the customer offer, enhancing the end-to-end value chain and significantly improving profitability.

As Chief Commercial Officer key responsibilities included the sales revenue growth and EBIT delivery, supplier relationships, sustainability and ESG and risk management, group manufacturing and food processing facilities and capital, IT, property and network planning for automation readiness.

Prior to joining Coles, Greg was Group Buying Director at Aldi, based in Germany and the UK, and part of the executive team that launched the brand into Australia.

Greg has an intimate knowledge of the fresh produce sector and is well connected across the industry with growers, suppliers and retailers alike.

Greg has a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics from Newcastle University and attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Stanford Executive Program in 2022.

Independent Director

Tony Mahoney

Tony has a deep understanding of the horticulture and agriculture sectors with a career spanning 4 decades. Most recently, Tony founded organic fresh produce grower Freshero Prior to that Mahoney was the founder and CEO of Nutrano Produce Group, CEO of Freshmax Group, and held several senior positions at Woolworths (ASX:WOW) for more than 10 years.

During his time at Nutrano, Mahoney oversaw the vertical integration of key fruit categories, providing supply chain expertise from farm to plate. He also oversaw the growth of Freshmax (backed by Wolseley Private Equity), which became the largest independent fresh produce business fully integrated across Australia and New Zealand, securing long-term supply partnerships in Australia, New Zealand and across the globe.

Gavin Whiteley

Gavin is an experienced property, agribusiness and food sector investor, executive and non Executive Director.

Gavin established The Micketymulga Group in 2013 – a private Australian agribusiness and property investment, management and corporate advisory business.

Previously he was the General Manager of South East Local Land Services and Chief Financial and Risk Officer with the Westchester Group of Australia. Westchester is the Australian agricultural management arm of TIAA-CREF, a significant US based pension fund, managing investments exceeding A$1.2 billion in Australian cropping land.

Gavin holds an honours degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of New England and an Associate Diploma in Farm Management from the former Orange Agricultural College. He is a CPA qualified accountant, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ Company Directors Course and the Australian Rural Leadership Program.

Executive Director

Paul Geurtsen

Paul draws on a rich background in horticultural farming and agricultural economics.

While initially starting as a technical officer, Paul quickly ascended to positions of operations management and spearheaded business expansion within corporate farming enterprises in the horticultural/wildflower sectors.

Managing workforces of over 200 employees during critical periods, such as the harvest of export-grade flowers and locally supplied vegetables, provided invaluable insights into the intricacies of managing a wide range of intensive horticultural production systems.
